INTRODUCTION

          Thai Rubber Latex Group Public Company Limited, which is popularly known as “THAITEX”, was incorporated on December 6, 1985 with the purpose of operating as a manufacturer and distributor of concentrated latex and other latex products. On March 8, 1993 the company was listed at the Stock Exchange of Thailand and the company’s shares are being traded under the code name of TRUBB. THAITEX has become a very well-known and well accepted brand in the global latex industry.

HISTORY OF THAITEX
 
  • 1985

    The company was registered with a paid up capital of Ten Million Thai Baht, under the name of Orient Rubber Latex Company Limited with the objective of manufacturing and selling natural rubber latex products such as concentrated latex, skim block and crepe rubber located in Nongyai district, Chonburi province.

  • 1989

    On January 10, 1989, Orient Rubber Latex Company Limited changed its name to Thai Rubber Latex Corporation (1988) Company Limited. or "THAITEX" as a Concentrated Latex Producer Group with the objective of distributing concentrated latex 60% DRC both locally and internationally. 

  • 1990

    Later, the company changed its name to Thai Rubber Latex Corporation (Thailand) Company Limited and acquired shares of Thai Rubber and Latex Company Limited (Rayong province), Excel Rubber Company Limited (Songkhla province) and Orient Surat Rubber Company Limited (Surat Thani province) to standardize the quality of Concentrated Latex produced by the company and to continuously meet the expanding demand of the latex consuming industrial sector.

  • 1993

    The company was listed in the Security Exchange of Thailand under the name of Thai Rubber Latex Corporation (Thailand) Public Company Limited on March 8, 1993, under the policy of steady growth and continuous expansion of investment in businesses that are beneficial to the company's core business and the company’s stakeholders.

  • 1994

    The company moved to its own office building located at 99 / 1-3 Moo 13, Soi Bangna-Trad 45, Bangna-Trad Road Km.7, Bangkaeo, Bangphli District, Samutprakarn 10540. In accordance with the company’s policy to expand the volume of quality latex production, another new company was established under the name of Phuket Latex Company Limited in Phang Nga province. 

  • 1995

    The company continued to invest in both upstream and downstream business by acquiring World Flex Public Company Limited, Rayong, which produces and exports Rubber Thread to overseas markets. And also by investing in Wang Somboon Rubber Plantation Company Limited in Sakaeo province.

  • 2004

    To expand the company’s interest in rubber plantations, THAITEX established Thai Rubber City Company Limited in Nan, Chiang Rai and Phayao province. Later Thai Rubber City Company Limited changed its name to Thai Rubber Land and Plantation Company Limited to consolidate and effectively run its rubber plantation operations

  • 2005

    All 7 subsidiary latex manufacturing companies were merged under Thai Rubber Latex Group Company Limited on July 1, 2005.

  • 2007

    THAITEX invested by acquiring 56% shareholding of Latex Systems Public Company Limited which manufactures and sells natural rubber latex mattresses and pillow both in domestic and export market.

  • 2009

    Thai Rubber Latex Group Company Limited acquired the ordinary shares of the company, Thai Rubber Latex Group Company Limited. (Shanghai), China another subsidiary, in order to operate all types of rubber products trading.

  • 2017

    All shares and assets of Thai Rubber Latex Group Company Limited were transferred to Thai Rubber Latex Corporation (Thailand) Public Company Limited (Mother Company) on December 29, 2017.

  • 2019

    On July 4, 2019, Thai Rubber Latex Corporation (Thailand) Public Company Limited changed its name to Thai Rubber Latex Group Public Company Limited.

  • 2021

    Thai Rubber Gloves Company Limited was established on January 8, 2021 to produce and to distribute natural rubber latex gloves in both domestic and overseas market.


At present, THAITEX Group consists of 6 factories producing concentrated latex, including other rubber products obtained from the production of latex.
